Most explorers start their adventures by unlocking a strong skill and class, forming parties, and gradually leveling up their abilities. Asta Ashford wasn't nearly as lucky.
Asta ran away to the upper realm to escape from his insensitive harem hero best friend. His new life as an explorer was anything but typical. He reincarnated as a little demon girl, was forcibly transported into a dangerous dungeon, and peed himself in fright upon encountering a terrifying monster under the watchful eyes of countless people.
His, no, her new life had hit rock bottom before it even truly began. Unfortunately, the harem hero of her hometown wasn’t about to let the newest addition to his harem get away so easily.
Amazing story so far. It feels so rare to see a story with where the MC grows mentally alongside getting stronger. There are definitely key moments in her growth, but it's a gradual, continuous change over the course of story.
I love that the author keeps the system kind of vague; it's partially because we learn alongside the MC, but also because there's no real hard numbers (aside from levels, which are often just a vague benchmark) which means no boring stat check fights with minimal strategy. MC has to work smarter and harder to survive.
Side characters are interesting and realistic, and I can't wait to see how things play out when MC returns after current arc. The only thing I think this story is missing is the character growth tag and more chapters.
Also really liked the way Ash's weak bladder skill was handled. At first I was pretty annoyed because I thought it was going to just turn into a constant gag and reminder of how weak Ash is, and she'd slowly become more pathetic and get more embarrassing skills. The author instead turned it into a indicator of her growth, which was a welcome surprise.

This really is quite a unique story... And I love it. The way that the reincarnation mechanic is used to drive the story is enthralling. Every time I read a chapter I wish that I could find another story to do the same. The only flaw with the story is that it needs more chapters!

I enjoyed this story quite a lot, the characters feel realistic and the plot isn't drawn out. It does have an open ending though, where I would love to see a part 2 to this story. But as it is, it did have a nice ending.
the description makes the MC seem cowardly, but that is not the case. Just a series of unfortunate events that make her seem that way. Instead she is quite courageous, smart, and willing to accept advice.
I hope there is a continuation, but if not, I really liked this novel.

Starts slow and becomes better with each new chapter.
Edit: Now that the series is marked complete and I've read the last chapter... It finished on a strong note but could have easily gone further than it's current 64 chapters. It definitely gets better as the story progresses. If a second book comes out for these characters, I'll read it.

This story honestly gets better the more you read. The first few chapters made me think it would be pretty generic and wrote characters that dont think or act in any way like a person but as of now I actually care about the characters and their motivations. I really recommend at least reading 5-10 chapters to see if you like it.

Great story, needs a sequel. Could have reasonably continued for at least 4x the length, and I'd still enjoy it.

The story is mediocre at best and seems like it's about f**king over the protagonist at every possible opportunity rather than the protagonist starting off weak and gaining power. In fact they lose their abilities at the same rate they gain them sometimes even in the same chapter.

Honestly this has been on of my fv stories this year.
What makes the story so good is mainly the reincarnation part and the interactions between the MC and side characters.
I do hope that there will be a sequel for it, for it to explore more about the reincarnation part and also further expand with the whole conflict in the epilogues.
The start may seems slow but it picks up pretty fast, would definitly recommend.

Grammar and diction overall is great. Overall story and ending was satisfying. My review is only 4 stars because of the very poor beginning. The first 10-20 chapters felt very rushed and had inorganic interactions or character reasonings galore, along with a lack of world-building. They were very hard to take seriously. Author seems to have improved greatly over the course of the whole story, though, and the rest of the way, characters grew more organic and made more sense, more worldbuilding occurred, and plot points that were open-ended/didn't make sense were rectified, all culminating in a good enough ending.
