From there, energy is distributed towards all kinds of processing lines, from huge Industrial Greenhouses which grows all types of crops and trees to the ore processing facilities, which include stacks of Macerators, Ore Washers, Centrifuges, Chemical Reactors, Electric Blast Furnaces and Vacuum Freezers.

Of course, one can’t not mention the Microverse Projector and the Void Ore Miner, extracting minerals from literally nothing to grow the factory further. Or the Simulation Supercomputer, which consumes energy and Pulsating Polymer Clay to simulate the spawning and killing of living creatures. Or the Industrial Apiary, harvesting combs from specially bred bees that can provide metals and chemicals.
Cables run all over the place, delivering items, fluids, signals and providing a connection to the central Matter-Energy system, which controls every variable in the huge factory.
To ensure no accident ever happens, a Quantum Supercomputer, created out of thousands of Quantum Processors and Supercomputer Mainframes, handles all the computing power needs of every other machine.
In the other base, the center is occupied by a glowing red Draconic Mana Core that looks no different from a miniature sun. Around it is countless Mana Siphoner and Mana Relay, storing and withdrawing mana to and from the huge sphere. What is it used for? Providing energy for the various Familiars and Golems, powering Rituals and Magic Arrays, plus many more facilities. Like a Magical Arboretum, which grows many magical herbs, an Alchemy Tower, where powerful Potions are produced, or an Astral Beacon, shining empowering light to all facilities in its surrounding.
In the corner, an Array of Equivalent Exchange is hard at work, transmuting mass of thin air into valuable resources. A Hellfire Forge with flame ablaze sits right next to it, being fed directly by a portal linked to the Dimensional Storage system.
Further down, a Blood Altar lays quietly, draining Life Essence from creatures brought into being by a Soul Cage with the Well of Suffering ritual. Nearby is a Blood Ritual Altar, which is used to strengthen Familiars using that very Life Essence. Of course, the Occult Summoning Altar is right nearby too, plus the Homunculus Incubator and the Golem Fabricator.
And in an enclosed room hidden by countless traps, is the Dimensional Storage Stabilizers, opening a storage space whose capacity even surpasses that of a Matter-Energy system.

All of that is the end-game base showcase for the upcoming VRMMO, Artificial Sphere Online, in their latest trailer.
Our protagonist, Kotowari Soku, was quite excited seeing all of this. The dev had already showcased the automation part of the game before, but this was on another level. Compared to all the boring combat, story and exploration parts in previous trailers, this was what Soku is truly interested in.
His excitement increased further as the launch drew near, as with every other player who had preordered the game. And finally, that moment is here. Only a few hours left.
People are discussing the game with fervor, even before the launch, and the most common question that’s being asked is…
Magic or Technology?
Soku already knows his answer. What else can it be? The Factory Must Grow!

Notes:
I am recycling the name Artificial Sphere from my previous abandoned fic.
This fic is mainly for the automation part, to satisfy my Gregtech/Factorio brain, the story is going to take a backseat, so just expect a mediocre plot at best.
The game mechanic is based on Minecraft, something similar to Hypixel Skyblock, and the technology/magic is going to be taken from various mods, the main one being Gregtech.
