Elaine, aka Slipspace, is a superheroine who moonlights as a professional dominatrix. When her new favorite client Allie asks her out on an earnest date, Elaine surprises herself by accepting. Unfortunately for the both of them, Slipspace’s former arch-nemesis has returned from his self-proclaimed retirement, only he’s not a he anymore. And, even under the mask, she bears a striking resemblance to Elaine’s new flame.

Fair warning to any and all readers this story goes some pretty dark places. And while at times it can be a fun, smutty romp, some parts are quite difficult to get through. Not to worry though, things will work out in the end. Chapters are tagged with appropriate content warnings, if you feel I've missed one please don't hesitate to let me know in the comments or via DM.

      Status: epilogue – regards

What if villains had won and took power long before the whole supervillain-superhero ado came to be? If they would paint themselves as something like the pillars of civilization or something? And what if those powers that be would then use superheroes as guard dogs to keep everyone else down in the turf?

I like this twist on the whole heroes-vs-villains business a lot! It's so much more human! And the trans lesbian romance only makes it more sweet and relatable.
