Notice, this file is outdated. I am working toward phasing in the storylines of Imaginary independently from one another. Each with their own dedicated files. Imaginary will be seeing an update every four days in whichever order I prepare them. These storylines will be redacted from my short drafts and demos file, and place on a fresh rotation. Imaginary is a world driven by storms and dictated by the elements. Spirits offer guidance and blessings, magic lines every corner of the world and technology surges into each frontier. Territories paved with the fallout of eras long past, ancient powers sinking into the world even now. The source of their power and their mechanics are sought and fought over, even as civilization comes together to brave the storms.

Death is but another playing field in this world. Even in the most dire and forbidding conditions, the souls of this world are anchored and eternal. Desperate to find solace, from sanctuary to the apocalyptic, the peoples fight to master the elements and write their own story. To build a future, a haven for those reborn, and embrace the chaos inherited by their world.

A two dimensional world. A no space sci-fi. A starless arcanum. The world has a ceiling, a fractal barrier. Heavenward the elements dissolve, below they are snared and crushed by lighting. Anchored in the heart of the landscape is a pillar. An adamantine tower, surrounded by mountains and guarded by a serpent that unwrites reality. It is here that Imaginary borders the permanent realm.

Among the denizens of this world, there is a household. A group of familiars native to this world and theirs. Souls chosen to retain and cultivate their will. There are rivals to this household, and an essence that predate them many times over. This is the story of those souls, and of all things created between them.
