In this novel, I press on from familiar grounds to less familiar grounds as opened to the imagination of all. This tale simply captures my take on the life of the Hero of Time and the events pertaining to his life and fate.

"A Shade of Time" captures the events of the return of the hero to Hyrule after his maddening adventure in Termina, Ganondorf's invasion of Hyrule, and the fall of the hero in becoming the 'shade'. Moreover, the tale continues to follow the 'shade' into the extending events of "Twilight Princess"

While my work contributes effort to reconcile the gap in the canon betwixt the events of "Majora's Mask" and "Twilight Princess", this is also my headcanon. It's typical for readers to have their own headcanon (and that's fine and I applaud that), but please show common courtesy in allowing respect for mine.

And while I'm always open to hear critiques and constructive criticism in reviews, I would advise to remember that there is a fine line between "valid" criticism and encroaching on another writer's style. (In other words, please feel free to advise on some aspects of my writing, but don't overreach in telling me with an authoritative tone how I should write. It's rude, to simply state it.)

That being said, please don't hesitate in giving an honest reaction and feedback to the story. And know this that such feedback is regarded as data which is simply taken 'with a grain of salt' as ultimately the matter is reserved to my own discernment.
