Two realms that were once connected. Both contain countless rooms for Stars and Dark Stars to sleep and cleanse. As well as an area where they may mingle and a training area with many different biomes and equipment to master their abilities.
Solis has only two levels. The main floor houses the mirror and the doors leading to the various rooms and areas. The second floor is reached via a circular staircase. It's there that the rooms for the Keepers are held.
Noctis has three levels. The base floor houses all of the Keepers' rooms save for one. Celeste's room is accessed by ascending the staircase. Going down, however, leads to where the Stars mingle and live just as those in Solis do.
Following many tragedies to which the land changed due to rising sea levels as well as power shifts, the people have been stricken with new and unusual diseases. The land masses have changed and because of this, new cities have formed along these coasts in an effort to distance themselves from the past.
The people themselves are 'humans'. They're quite advanced now with vehicles running on various forms of renewable energy and high-tech devices that harness 'light'.
One such city is Civicus.
Civicus is a major port city on the mid-eastern coastline. Because it borders this coast, its major income is imports and exports-- having been established far sooner than the others. Now that the coast has changed and the climate shifting, Civicus has a tinge of all seasons with a strong summer and winter. Even so, snow is typically a rare occurrence.
A human on Earth that has a hereditary disease with no cure. This disease in particular is easy to spot as it turns the person’s eyes an abnormal eye color with an additional hue to them. The disease attacks the body’s organs and robs the person of their senses (never in any particular order).
Nether are souls that have failed to make it into the cycle due to the negativity that has gathered in them. They lose their reasoning and self. They will remain on their plane of existence amongst other humans/creatures and attack them, trying to spread this inner destruction. They seek the bright lights and energy to devour and drain from all.
Regardless of the type, they all have a similar appearance. Inky black shadows with blue crackling lines throughout their bodies. Blue eyes. Additionally, those higher ranked than Mist will take the form of the things related to the world they're found in.
Rank 4: Mist
Perhaps not the strongest, but they can be just as lethal as any of the others. This is usually the default form taken by Nether. If not taken seriously or if these can sneak up on their prey, they’re just as difficult to deal with as a Beast kind. They do have a solid core in the middle of the mist that can be hit.
Rank 3: Plant
Cunning and sneaky, these try to stay out of sight and will feed off of negative emotions. These usually don’t get into battle but when they’re encountered they can be extremely hard to deal with depending on what they’ve taken form as.
Rank 2: Beast
What these lack in brains make up for in raw power. They have quick reflexes and will stop at nothing, for they dismiss their pain in regard to battle. The longer the fight takes, the more berserk they will go.
Rank 1: Humanoid
These are the most dangerous as they have some form of consciousness. They’re far better fighters than any of the others and can control those lower than them. However, two Humanoids will most likely never be found together because of this.
Humanoids are glass cannons. Their main body is rather weak for the most part. However, from their body, they can form tendrils of negative energy. The locations they can appear from vary between them. These tendrils are fast and strong. Some Humanoids even use them to move the main body around or protect it.
They are souls of a power who has died. They’re granted the power to keep the balance between positive and negative, good and evil, life and death. There are countless Stars that roam the cosmos in an effort to keep worlds safe from Nether.
Stars are what their respective sides call them. However, when together they’re to be distinguished by Stars (those that reside in Noctis) and Dark Stars (those that reside in Solis).
Both have aspects of their respective Infernal/Celestial. Also like their counterparts, they don’t need to eat, drink, etc...
Stars gain their power, as well as recovery during missions, from the moon. A Star has the goal of hunting, luring, and cleansing Nether. As a Star, they each have a unique domain over a weapon that matches their soul.
They have the choice to don a human appearance or let their power be on display. If they choose to do so they gain the following changes;
They are based off of Dragons. Particularly they are a ground-bound dragon counterpart, therefore they have no wings to fly. Naturally, Celestials have heard and encountered from a distance to observe what they’re modeled after. They live in the plane of existence called Solis.
Infernals do not have a pulse/heartbeat. Their core is similar to a mortal being’s heart. It allows their body to function. However, they don’t need to eat, breathe, or produce waste in that regard to maintain their form. Simply remaining cleansed and sleeping now and then is enough. Regardless, consuming food/drink is converted to energy.
These beings can draw in the power of the sun(s) on the worlds they visit. Typically, they are at their strongest during the day and slightly weakened in the night light.
During a lunar eclipse on a world they’re on their power triples.

The scales on their body can manifest in other areas to act as extra defense against attacks. However, the ability to do so requires a lot of energy and some time to adjust them.
Scales appear beneath their eyes
Marks are pieces of light energy made from the Keeper’s power. They take care of whatever they’re asked for as well as assist their Keeper. They are also used to allow others into their assigned rooms should they not be in there at the time.
These beings are pure white and of varying shapes and sizes. Typically they don’t have faces, simply a pair of eyes. Most believe they don’t have thoughts or personalities of their own. However, Marks take after aspects of their creators. Therefore, when given the chance, they can act on their own to some degree.
