Far from the center of galactic civilization, The Palmyr Century was isolated enough to get advanced word of The Macro invasion. The Palmyr was able to close it’s Mirror Maze gateways to the rest of the Consortia and walled off i’s populated worlds from the threat of The Macros. For more than two hundred and fifty years this protection stood, until it was breached by Althea Ram.

Althea Ram, born on the planet Emerald in Palmyr Century was Trinary coding prodigy. This skill lead her to be recruited by a group, the ZAT, an organization engaged in illegal research into Macro code. When found out, the ZAT was eliminated on orders of The First Centurion. Althea escaped with her newly created AI, Dorian.

A fugitive, she found herself betrayed time and time again. Ultimately she joined a group organized by the Rian telepath Shirae Valerian. Shirae made a deal with Althea for her own reasons and provided her with a Mirror Port which would allow her to reach the Lost Worlds outside The Palmyr. While she is driven to discover the secrets of The Macros, Althea is still drawn back to The Palmyr by the unfinished business that has defined her.

i don't particularly intend for this novel to be gore filled but there are mentions of changing organs or blood and such. on the same hand I'm trying to keep it pretty clean language wise without seeming forced. if you feel i need to have the language tag just let me know and i will add it. i looked around and never found clear guidelines on what is considered "strong language" on this site. if i made a spelling error or messed up a sentence anywhere please let me know, for grammar though.... sorry I'm hopeless. you could spend all day on that I'm sure.

Only a deity can overrule or override these acts, so ... this lazy god is getting overworked and desperate for help. He set Maxwell down in a grassland bordering four major kingdoms, gave him a building system, a slave management system, and a 'skill reorganization' system. Then the aloof and passive god left Maxwell more or less to himself. In the end the God of Responsibility is ... _irresponsible_?!?!

Keigo isn't the only deity around ― the other one being Genki the Goddess of Activity ... who is currently frustrated with the lazy god. She too has reason to poke and prod at her husband to 'do something'. Because even if she has her own followers to manage, his passive nature detracts from their mutual godship over all peoples, and thus in recent years their number of 'followers' all over are on the decline.

Set down into a grassland, Max takes stock of all options and what he has. One scout from a kingdom comes to challenge him but is forced off; then a second group comes ― but it's a bandit party being chased by yet another kingdom's soldiers. While this is a typical Isekai started by the infamous truck-kun, the story is most definitely not what is to be taken at face value. I love making tragic twists into these types of stories. For Code Reader Kagami, you'll begin to see a descent into psychological madness. As your hero changes entirely from the moral man he initially was. If you're not a fan of dark aspect stories, this one is not for you.
