With No Cheats, No Perks, No Gifts...How would you survive in this chaotic world?
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
(After reading countless fanfics I finally thought to myself, "Why don't I give it a try?")
It's an interesting fanfic, but if I had to say something that bothers me a little is that the MC has a bit too many themes going on at the same time, he's a super genius with relationship issues, he's also read all of Naruto, but doesn't really like it (until this point it was fine), then as we go deeper into his past we find out he had a messy relationship with his dead parents and feels guilty for the failed marriage of his uncle and aunt who took him in and a strong bond with his cousins, who have their own drama going on, suddenly it's revealed that he was betrayed (which felt a little forced because of the betrayer supposedly having been bidding his time since they were kids because) resulting in a rivalry against a super corporation, there's also a suicidal friend who was fooled by his ex for 17 years into paying for a kid that wasn't his and the classical "black man in America" package. Get what I mean? This guy has a super dense backstory even before entering the world of Naruto. It's not necessarily bad or anything, but I don't really care about his surprisingly dramatic past as much as his life after reincarnation, so having so much baggage to deal with feels a bit both
PS: Despite being over the top his character isn't THAT OP or flawless, the author also makes sure to use everything he puts in the backstory... so really it's more of a question about preference

This novel is one of the best fanfics I've ever read, no joke. But I like the author even more. He's humble, polite, and responds as much as he can. You can tell he's actually taking our advice in order to improve
This story really rewards patience, which is why most negative reviews are by those who've barely started reading and haven't even given it a chance. The ones with no taste whatsoever
The beginning starts off a little slow, but that's natural. The author takes his time, does real world building, the characters aren't just there for background. They feel real, relatable, and have true everyday struggles like the rest of us
It's really touched upon in the chapters starting at 40 (That's when things get really deep and shifted into higher gear)
The plot is also great, it's plain as day he's planned this entire story out from beginning to end. Every event and/or action has a deeper meaning, making the mystery even better. It's very... Naruto-like!
The MC is also interesting, his backstory before he came to the Naruto world is explored and correlates to the current world he's in
He doesn't just give you all the answers right away like in some typical, crappy Isekai story. This is Isekai DONE RIGHT!

After every chapter, I keep loving this fanfic more and more.
Overall... I'm loving it, keep going!

I'm really surprised how much of a positive reviews there is. Cause I find this novel pretty bad.
It started kinda meh, then gotten bit better, then it became your usual trashy translation of trashy ranobe, then it became boring translation of complete trash ranobe.
In the end I just tried skipping chapters, because they were so bad, but it only got worse, so I'm out.
Awesome premise, but awful novel.

Literal trash fire. Starts with 4 chapters of exposition dump where two characters just talk at each other and feel flatter than the XY plane. The best character was a completely unimportant side character that had about 6 lines in the prologue (make of that what you will).
This might get better at some indiscriminate point in the future, but it is just painful with all the tropes already present in just a prologue and an exposition dump. I had given this a try since it came up as recommended, but I noped out fairly quickly.
The biggest problem I had was the use of vague language to establish an air of "mystery" where all it indicates is poor narrative design (aka. TVTropes "You Know the One" or CinemaSins "Pronoun Game"). This was what made me stop reading further since any writing that has this is utterly meaningless (with no exceptions coming to mind of it being executed as a benefit to the narrative).
More power to the people who can look past that and enjoy it, but for someone looking for a competent story this isn't it.

I have no idea why this is so highly rated (maybe it gets better in later chapters?).
The first 5 chapters are huge and absurdly expository and intrusive, what do I mean by that? I mean that the MC dies and someone appears explaining everything to him, from why he is there, what he has to do, what he can or cannot do, the powers he has and what will happen in the world, this is the expository part, now about the intrusive part - the MC has 5 chances to make a wish that will be granted, the world will change so that this wish is granted and damn it, poor writing resource for the author to have a way out if he does sh*t and doesn't know how to solve the problem situation, like for example his first request - the author doesn't want to have to write how the MC will manage to become stronger he uses one of his wishes to become a human-alien hybrid with infinite potential that immediately triples the chakra and improves the MC's control and of course leaves him an easy alternative to improve his chakra pool ("does my baby have to work hard to get stronger? Nah") that of course not to mention the guide that appears every now and then for no reason just to "mock" the MC, the guide and the MC are horrible characters and I'll talk more about them later.
About the world it is mentioned that it is a false world created by gods and that if he reaches the final outcome of the story he gets a second chance in his world and that he is there just to make fun of the gods and that the mere presence of the MC will change things in the world and that he will need to do something so that the story goes back on track and has a closure like the original (yes very expository), first: this explanation is not for the MC it is for the reader, it is like a book of rules which does not make sense considering that one of these rules it is simply one of those rules that breaks all the rules in the world (yes very intrusive), second: this explanation is completely unnecessary and only impoverishes the story by wasting the reader's patience and adds nothing to the narrative, if it were just thrown there it would be much better.
The characters all without exception are unidirectional and as deep as a coin, here is a list with everything they have up to chapter 35:
mc's sister: loving sister and is a shinobi with space-time jutsu
3rd raikage - 3rd raikage (raikage=hokage) he gives a random scroll to the MC (that's all the character's function)
tai - "companion" of the MC who is smart and has lots of information for the MC (the author's excuse for the MC not having to spend time gathering information)
suzu - sister of the gold and silver brothers (the guys who ate biju meat remember? Not me either), definitely not the mc's romantic partner and much less the 3rd member of mc's group of 2 ok?
MC - The author says he has several p.h. Ds and that he is very intelligent, which does not materialize in the story, he is proud, arrogant, dirty mouth (he lives cursing without any purpose) and evil, this last even demonstrates his "great" intelligence when he does not make the most respectful respect in front of the most respected figures of the village (that he is an invader from another world?).
guide - the character who goes out of his way to be annoying to the MC and the reader, to the MC he doesn't answer questions right and to the reader he's a character who just shows up to be the target of the mc's foul mouth and to conveniently avoid the MC having to go out of his way to figure things out (again author intrusion), like when the MC uses his wish and the guide explains all the mini details to make things work or how he constantly reminds the MC that he can't be found out or when he talks to the MC c that he has to make sure a certain character passes the exam because he has a trait that will affect another character in another village that will do what needs to be done for the story to continue in canon fashion.
Apparently the story becomes good after 40, so much so that I made an effort to give the novel a second chance but 20 chapter later (I stopped at 15 the last time) and I don't feel the slightest desire to continue, in 35 chapters 3 years pass and there is absolutely no development at all, literally if you take any character they are the same, how did MC learn kage busho no jutsu? A rank B ninjutsu without explanation or effort. For me, this story has 2 central problems, the author's haste to write the scenes he wants to write and that's why he goes over logic (with wishes and time skips) and ignores the development of the characters and the world, during these 35 chapters he only mentions what happened but we are never shown what happened or how it happened, I'm going to ask some questions to better exemplify what I mean: how does MC study and what does he study? Does he have a notepad? Does he only read? (Since technically he should already know this) how does his sister guarantee he studied? Is it through evidence? Are these paper or oral tests? How does his physical training work? Are they only fights when his sister is at home or is there a schedule he follows even when his sister is away? Why the hell is he better at taijutsu than the other clan kids? Shouldn't they also have been trained by the elders of the clans? He mentions experiments on chakra that he does by himself how does he do these experiments? What are the experiments? The child of the other clans not to do this type of training? What are the chakra control training methods he uses? How does the teacher teach in the classroom? What does the MC do in the classroom? Technically he already knows the material so he stays in the room looking at nothing waiting for the time to pass? Is he better at chakra control because he doesn't need to study and instead trains during class? What types of workouts does he do during all three years at the academy? Are they push ups? Abs? Race? Is he the best in the room at everything? Who is the second? By how many times is he better than the rest? How did he break into the hospital? Was it not supervised? Did he pass by potentially genins unnoticed? What were the oils he got from tai? How did he know that tai planted? The guide I said? How did he know which path he could take to escape the village? No one noticed he disappeared? Where was the town he went to get the bait? Which path did he take to get to the bait? And then where did he go? Which way? Wasn't the body heavy for him to carry alone? Did he take it in a cuddle? How did he keep the bait alive? How did he finance this trip? Did he take food or buy it during the trip? Did he manage to avoid all the surveillance of several countries and all the villages along the way? How did he hide to avoid being found by the alien patriarch? Where was the place he put the poison? How did he put it? Didn't it have a single protection on the air intakes?
and many more questions that I'm tired of thinking about, nothing is explained or shown, it's just mentioned in passing as if it didn't matter, of course I don't need an answer to all the questions and much less need you to explain all this to me, what I want is to be shown these things I want to see the experiments, the training, the lectures, his interactions, I want to see things happening, all these 35 chapters can be summarized in: he trained, he studied, he ran away from the village to redo his body, he passed the exam, if someone reads this and skips to chapter 35 he will know everything that happened and I won't miss any nuance because we weren't shown anything it was only briefly mentioned that it happened. And the second thing is the author's need to meddle in the story, which if you've read the review you already know what I'm talking about.

First thing, I would like the person who put 2 stars on this novel to shoot themselves in the foot.
Anyway, the novel is a good fanfic with great world building. It doesn't skip out on details and actually doesn't have any holes as of yet I can see. I am reading the early chapter so there are spelling mistakes but later on it gets better. It's hard to describe the novel without sounding like your biased so I will stop here. I would recommend anyone who likes naruto and world building to read this novel.

So far, like the story, pretty good, not super cliche backstories, and some compelling motivations. Some scenes may come off as preachy, but it's still necessary for the story, so I'll give it a pass. I love the experimentation parts where he screws around with concepts.

STRAIGHT FIRE 🔥🔥🔥🔥! One of the best Fanfics ever, HANDS DOWN! Be patient, stick around, I promise you won't regret it!
Does it start off a little rough? Of course it does, just as with any beginning writer.
Does it get better? YES, and quickly! The author does some well placed world-building before things get into high gear in the 40s chapters. Things only get better from then on
Author takes advice, learns, adapts, and continues to look for the best writing style we can enjoy. Plus, the author is such a nice guy, humble and polite, responds to us whenever he can despite his busy schedule. Too positive of a person to be attacked by trolls who can't even read.
Seriously, read this! You'll have a great time!

One of the best Naruto fanfics you will ever read.
The thing about this fanfic is that it is so well written that you would think of it as an original novel. The world-building is phenomenal in this novel you don't actually see this much quality in a Naruto fanfic.
So many fanfic writers always hesitate to deal with Otsutsukis but this writer faces it head-on and even builds the story using the Otsutsuki plot. That was where I got hooked on this book.
There are so many exciting things happening in the background all the time that the writer always keeps you on your toes. The story is soo good (it is sooo good that I added multiples o's) already and the actual canon hasn't even started yet that's how you know the author has great talent.
I can't wait for how crazy things will go when canon kicks off, the timeline has been messed up already.
Thank you for writing this absolute masterpiece and never abandon it Author-san.
Alright it has been a long review and now I gotta leave and read some Naruto neglect fics (don't judge me.)
