Expansive worldbuilding with characters that you can root for; everybody has a reason to do what they're doing, even if it isn't obvious.
The various cultures and peoples can be a little overwhelming but are presented in an easily-swallowed manner that allows you to look deeper and puzzle out their backgrounds and motivations.
Plus it has these insanely cute pseudo sheep monsters that act as blankets several times

@Paul_Tromba has really set the bar for Fantasy on this site, he has demonstrated excellent character growth, world building, and conflict in the chapters he has written.
Character- The characters are organic and feel like they could be real people. Especially Nero the main character, which can only be described as a well-meaning mage with PTSD.
Style- The story's flow feels natural and moves at a steady pace, the author really knows how to balance tension in the story so that it doesn't sound like it is a satire of itself.
Story- No spoilers, so all I have to say is read it for yourself it very good.
Grammar- No grammatical issues, prose that is use only helps the story and doesn't hurt it.
Overall @Paul_Tromba is creating a wonderful story that is only getting better as it develops, can't say much else without spoiling so go read it for yourself. I am highly looking forward to how the story progresses. So go read it, you won't regret it.
