Alisha is a cleric of the goddess Brigid of the Tuatha Dé Danann, which was very much an act of rebellion on her part.
To her family Alisha was nothing more than a bargaining chip; a womb to be given away in return for political capital. Her parents cared nothing for her achievements, save for the parts that would make her a more attractive prospect for marriage. The only reason her parents even allowed her to become a cleric was because she chose to worship a goddess of the hearth, part of which involved learning to become a proper housewife.
When she came of age they gave her away to the first Chosen One to be raised in their general vicinity, hoping that he would become a Great Hero and that him and Alisha would sire a line of powerful half-elf children who would in turn sire more elves in turn, resulting in prestige and power for the Silvermoon clan.
Except he treated her even worse than even her parents had, with scorn and derision, for not being awestruck by him.
And so when the opportunity arose she decided to take the reins of her own future and join Felix Tailor, a decision she has not regretted since.
Not only does Felix respect her in a way no person other than her goddess ever did before, the two of them also have nearly perfect chemistry, both in the bedroom and out of it.
It also helps that Alisha is strongly bisexual and since Felix was a pushover who let her turn their relationship into full polyamory she gets to indulge all sides of her sexuality with him. Even more so because she is extremely submissive as well as masochistic in bed and Felix is perfectly willing to give her exactly what she needs.
Outside the bedroom, however, Alisha is very opinionated and outspoken, but also able and willing to help people sort through their own feelings, the way a proper cleric should.
In battle Alisha wields a rapier enchanted to act as a focus for her air magic, letting her send out air lances and hammer blows of air without having to drag a huge magic staff around with her. This is, of course, on top of the powerful healing and protective miracles she can use thanks to her goddess.
Alisha may also possibly have an ever-so-slight burning obsession with fruit.
Born as a farmer's daughter in the village of Urd's Embrace, Selene was Chosen by the goddess Freyja shortly after reaching the age of majority.
Insecure and with little fighting experience other than fending off the odd goblin or kobold she elected to travel to the capital to find companions to aid her on her quest to slay a Dark Lord and, upon the recommendation of the Adventurer's Guild's lead receptionist, hired Felix Tailor and Alisha for the job.
Selene fights with the greatsword she was given as a Chosen One as well as the miracles provided to her. During their travels Felix notes that she is a very gifted learner and that her sword skills improve very quickly.
Volume 1 Spoilers:
Over the course of their journey she fell for both Felix and Alisha but elected to hold off on sleeping with them until she had fulfilled her quest. After she was tortured and scarred at the hands of the Dark Lords Felix and Alisha were the ones to show her that she wasn't broken and that they loved her just the way she was, scars and all.
After her quest Freyja offered to make her a paladin but Selene refused after learning that Freyja had known she would end up getting tortured by the Dark Lord and had allowed it to happen.
Ended up deciding to travel with Felix and Alisha, not only because she refused to be left behind by the people she had fallen for, not only to aid her family with the money she could make as an adventurer, but so she could face her fears head-on.
Post-Volume 1 Spoilers:
Eventually she decided to use the miracles Freyja had given her after she had completed her quest, choosing Felix and Alisha's safety over her own pride. Ever since then she gained a Sense Evil ability, leading Felix to assume using those miracles made her a paladin of Freyja.
While traveling with Felix and Alisha the former virgin started to explore her sexuality and eventually learned that she can climax just from giving blowjobs and that she prefers anal sex over vaginal sex.
A proud and powerful spellblade, capable of fire and illusion magic, highly trained in the art of the Southern blade and well versed in the use of Qi, or life force, Yume (pronounced 'YOO-meh') is a five foot tall force of nature.
While her mother is a purebred kitsune of the Southern realm, her father was a merchant from the Trismegistian kingdom. While this changes nothing about her being a kitsune, it does give her a blend of Southern and Northern features. This means that while she looks exotic to people from the Trismegistian kingdom, she likewise looked like an outsider back in the realm she was born in. Between that and the general prejudice against kitsune Yume was an outcast, either scorned or outright persecuted, for most of her life.
None of the happiness she managed to scrape together lasted long and eventually a group of slavers put a magical collar on her and dragged her off to the Trismegistian kingdom where they handed her over to the Olympian god Ares.
Ares then gave her to one of his Chosen Ones, a repulsive man who tried to use Yume for his pleasure. Unable to refuse him thanks to the magical collar she did her best to twist his commands, resisting him as much as she was capable of.
The vile Chosen One ended up hiring Felix, Alisha and Selene and Felix immediately made plans to free Yume.
Volume 2 spoilers:
Eventually Felix did manage to free Yume, who immediately used that freedom to kill the Chosen One in a rather horrific way. In truth she wanted to make the man suffer far more but held back because she didn't want to horrify the man who had tamed her and his two other women.
Post Volume 2 spoilers:
Yume admitted that she loved Felix when meeting his mother and being put on the spot by her. The little fox has a dominant streak that only Felix can quell and enjoys dominating his other women.
A beautiful, mysterious woman clad in white whom Felix met after slaying a Dark Young, a vile creature beholden to Shub-Niggurath, in a bizarre red and black jail cell.
Volume 1 spoilers:
Syr found out that the prison Felix found her in was in fact her own body, wherein her mind had been trapped by the possessor entity running around wearing her skin now. After trying and failing to perform astral projection to get out of her prison Syr's mind now seeks shelter within Felix's, only returning to her body to spy on the possessive entity in order to find out how to get her body back.
Post Volume 1 spoilers:
The entity controlling Syr's body calls herself the Holy Maiden and claims to be the mouthpiece of Shub-Niggurath. Given that she was able to elevate a man into a Dark Lord of her foul goddess, those claims cannot be entirely made up.
Using Syr's ability to track the Holy Maiden and the trail of devastation she leaves behind, Felix, Syr and the others try to track her down, trying to find a way to defeat the evil entity without having to kill Syr's body in the process.
The youngest daughter of Queen Emilia Flora Trismegistus and King Luke, the rulers of the Trismegistian kingdom.
Loathes court etiquette and politics and prefers to spend her days as an adventurer and herbalist. She keeps her curly hair short, has no chest to speak of and dresses mostly in pants and tunics unless court politics force her to don a dress. And yet even so her wide hips and strikingly pretty face give her gender away.
Outspoken, opinionated and confident, Annabella is every bit the experienced adventurer. She's even got flirting with women down. But all of this is merely a shell, to hide the frail and vulnerable girl deep within, the one who was rejected constantly by the world around her. Last in line to the throne, weaker at the Trismegistian bloodline's magic than all her siblings, her femininity disregarded because of her lack of bust, the bisexual Annabella has been reduced to flirting with women because she believes no man would have her.
Volume 3 spoilers:
She eventually admits her attraction to Felix and his women during a vulnerable moment and Felix and Selene show her exactly how attractive they find her. This causes her to loosen up around them and trust them more and more.
Post Volume 3 spoilers:
After everything that happened between her and Felix' group she asked, damn near begged, to become part of their group and they were only too glad to have her. She even managed to get her mother the queen to approve of it, so long as Felix and his girls were willing to accompany her on two diplomatic missions.
Olympian Goddess of Wisdom and a constant thorn in Felix' side.
Daughter of Zeus and Zeus alone, Athena was birthed fully formed from Zeus' forehead when he thought her into existence. Spurns the physical world, preferring to be a creature of thought. As such, she has no interest in the pleasures of the flesh that the other Olympians so readily indulge in.
As Hera had no hand in her birth Athena doesn't have a particularly good relationship with her father's wife.
After being told off by a mere mortal Athena developed somewhat of an obsession with Felix, showing up to insult and belittle his efforts at every turn and ranting to anyone who will listen about his insolence.
Why exactly she can't let go of this one mortal's impudence isn't known but at least she recognizes the efforts Felix and his companions go to in order to defeat Dark Lords and Outsiders.
"Along the way we also slew another Dark Lord, but it was about as routine as saving a region from certain destruction could be. Well, besides the part where we befriended a lupine demigod. But that, as they say, is a story for another day."
That other day, as it turns out, is NOW.
In case you didn't know, Harem Fantasy isn't just a genre on Scribble Hub. In recent years it has kind of blown up, with a whole gaggle of amazing and talented authors writing for it. Some of these authors have had their start right here on this website, in fact. Authors like Saileri and AceArriande, for example, have a huge presence right here on Scribble Hub and are also published authors on Amazon.
So when the inimitable Marcus Sloss, one of the biggest names of the HaremLit genre and author of the really, really good Origins Of A Pirate Lord, decided to make an anthology for both new and accomplished HaremLit authors I of course jumped at the chance and wrote a story showcasing Felix, Alisha, Selene and Yume working their normal job without any interference from rapist scumbags or Outsider cultists getting in the way, a story where we just get to enjoy their relationships and see them kick ass.
Long story short, my story got approved and I am proud to announce that I am officially part of the Knights & Maidens anthology, which also contains stories by the above-mentioned Marcus Sloss as well as a bunch of other big names of the genre. Just to name a few I've personally read, it has a story by Jack Bryce, author of the excellent Apocalypse Cultivator series and also Chet Hardacre, author of the fucking stellar Dungeon Scumbag, which was one of my favorite reads of 2022, a year packed with great books. And I get to be part of that, alongside those amazing people and nine more authors who are just as amazing.
13 authors, 13 short stories, including one by Yours Truly.
The anthology is out now on Amazon in ebook and audiobook format and you can find it under this link:

It would mean the world to me if you considered purchasing a copy.

And now a little Q&A, just in case:
Q: Will All In A Week's Work ever release as stand-alone, possibly on Scribble Hub?
A: Sadly not. The anthology is on Kindle Unlimited and being on Kindle Unlimited means the story cannot be available outside of Amazon, especially not for free. If you've ever wondered why Scribble Hub authors who go on to Amazon delete their chapters off of SH, now you know why.
Q: What does this mean for Godsforsaken on Scribble Hub?
A: Nothing. Godsforsaken is, and will always be, freely available on this website. The only exception to that is this one short story.
All romantic interactions were initiated by the girls. The protagonist is passive despite being experienced. Girls act very bold and horny despite being virgins. They just threw themselves on him for no reason. Slow burn my ass. This dynamic would make more sense if you switched the genders. The protagonist also uses prostitutes.
After encountering rapist bandits, the protagonist uses the minimal force required to apprehend them and gently escort them to the nearest village. But he has no problem desecrating the corpse of a person who gave his life fighting evil. For fun. He brags about it.
The kingdom is advanced enough to guard and feed bandits. If there was no economic reason to become a criminal, aren't they just evil?
In this world, it is apparently normal for a farm girl to not know how to sew.

Very good story. The writing is clean and clear and the story is engaging. The MC is native to a fantasy world with typical (and some creatively, engagingly unique) creatures. One of the more interesting aspects is that many pantheons of the gods are represented -- Greek, Norse, Celtic, etc. Plus, the gods show up, much to the MC's disgust. I won't give away the background, but he's a mercenary adventurer who hires out to help Chosen Ones defeat Dark Lords, but he has little respect for most Chosen Ones or the gods who choose and bless them. It's a structure that allows for some real personality and humor to show in the MC, and the author delivers.
As a harem novel, there's always the question of how the MC gains members of the harem. Well, in this case, it's through relationship development over time. In other words, a slow burn. After the first woman joins him, she's the one to initially suggest the second, and it seems (at this point in the story) that the third will join due to mutual attraction by all parties. So, no insta-love and no magical domination.
Finally, there's a big picture story that's foretold and the author sets up interesting plot and character developments. For example, at the point where I'm writing this reveiw (Vol.2 Ch.4 - Falling for Her), the MC and his "mates" are helping a very disagreeable and unsavory Chose One that they were warned away from by both a goddess (whom the MC neither respects nor trusts) and a clerk of the adventurers guild (whom he did respect and trust). Yet, they agreed anyway, partially for money, but, to me, also partially because the MC really doesn't want to see more villages like his destroyed by Dark Lords. So, it's personal. But the setup with the no-good-nik Chosen One is fun.
Bottom line: If any of this sounds like your kind of story, give it a shot. I don't think you'll be disappointed!

In my personal opinion this story is one of the better ones on scribblehub. The fights are amazing, the grammar is decent, the characters are well done and relatable, and the s*x scenes are enjoyable. The protagonists isn't your normal harem douche, and the romantic interests aren't door mats. The fights flow and are intelligent. The world is interesting and I look forward to seeing it fleshed out. Honestly if you're looking for a polygamous relationship action adventure novel this is it.

This story has been a blast to read. The erotic scenes are well written and 9/10 timrs feel original. Story development, character development, clearly defined personalities.
A big plus is the author DOES NOT make the 2 most common mistakes most amateur writers do. One is overly explaining every detail of something/someone. Two is repeated explanations of the same things in various chapters to fill in space. The author progresses the story in a very smooth fashion
My only complaint is, CAN WE PLEASE GET SOME ARTWORK OF FELIX AND ATHENA IN THE GLOSSARY? No homo but I like being able to properly visualize the authors characters

Interesting premises so far. No major grammar errors. Good character development. I would like to see the two main women's history more fleshed out, but that will surely come in time as the story progresses. The few smut scenes so far have been enjoyable reads.
