It's alright. It's mostly a smut and doesn't take itself seriously, having some actually funny moments.
The writing style is also fairly good, it's distinct and colorful enough to earn a place as being a cut above most smuts in this site. Grammar-wise, it's more than acceptable as well, just a few mistakes here and there.
My main problem so far is that I feel like we're supposed to relate with the MC and think that despite being a pervert, he's just a nice guy being nice to women when he's objectively evil, which is fine for this kind of novel, but it's that contradiction that puts me off a little bit. Like, he would act submissively and gentlemanly sometimes, but in the next scene, he would rape a girl and gaslight her into being her disciple/lover. And, it's not like in some novels with evil MCs when they just put up a front, it feels like the protagonist in this story actually believes he's a good person.
Anyhow, it is substantially better in most aspects than most popular novels in this site.

This novel (?) has some rather problematic views on women and relationships in general. Granted I dropped it at early, but so far the main character is sleazy, rapey and frankly a loser. I expected at least a token attempt at romance, what I got instead is the MC (25M) doing what I can only describe as grooming to his first disciple (18F). Of course there will be a power imbalance between the master and the disciple, that is only natural. Using that as a basis to convince the disciple to have s*x with the master is a completely different thing. Here are a few examples from the book (?) :
When describing training:"... He wasn't disappointed by this as such practice allowed plenty of opportunities for physical contact."Master, don't touch!" She would often complain. In these situations, he would respond with the utmost sincerity, "My dear disciple, when it comes to one-on-one instruction, there will always be times when our bodies will touch. It’s completely unintentional!"If she was still unconvinced, he would add a few more words, "Since you are my first disciple, our relationship is already special. Since it is like this, small touches like these should be inconsequential, no?"---Later when talking about her:Her defenses which had already been worn down over the past two weeks were quickly crumbling. She no longer saw him as just her master in cultivation but as the most important person in the world to her besides her parents. (??? ew what) ---A bit later the second disciple joins his tutelage by the MC insinuating that she needs to do something special for the MC and she sucks him off (of course he insinuated it completely accidentally, he is just a poor virgin after all, it is not at all a weird)... also the MC cums after getting his d*ck licked like three times... what a hero.

When you read a harem novel you find several personality defects or you are not entirely satisfied with the MC, and although this MC is not the best I have read it may be in the top 10 so if you are looking for a harem story where the MC is not:
1. Dense, no high emotional quotient
2. Shy and indecisive
3. Reckless and brainless
this novel is not for you, but if you give it a chance you will get caught up in this good story

Good story progression. At first there were some stupid characters and their actions, but author improved on this.
Characters actually are not ret*rds like in almost all other novels, in which they only see one way of improving yourself: fight for resources and find cultivation techniques. They dvelve by themselves on their cultivation path, try to invent cultivation techniques and use unorthodox methods to achieve that.
Love stories are good, women have different life circumstances and MC is taking that into consideration.
