Ok... How should I start...

First of all, don't be fooled by the title of this Fanfic. There is nothing Evil about the MC. At first, she did some evil things, but only because they attacked her first, but that is where her evilness ends.

After that, she becomes a doormat. She gets arrested by weaklings, she gets fined and instead of killing them, she simply allows them to carry on. Instead of simply taking back her ship, she pays off her debt... Is there anything evil about that?

Then she accidentally turns into Oozaru and razes the planet a bit, and she still feels guilty about it. I don't think anyone Evil should be feeling that.

Then she joins a Pirate crew and allows the instructor to walk over her. The instructor keeps insulting her, demeaning her, but she simply let's it go, because she is just that, a doormat for everyone to walk on.

She knows she is stronger than everyone and nobody would be able to stop her if she wants, but she does nothing. She simply goes along with the whims of others.

If you are expecting a badass MC from the synopsis and title name, then this fanfic is most definitely not for you. The MC is basically a pathetic wimp, who simply goes along with the whims of others.

Though that isn't the kicker at all... If you are expecting a story filled with action, then this is not for you. There is more philosophy than action in this fic and did I mention she has daddy issues? None of the Saiyans ever had family issues, but this MC apparently does.

Wait! There's more... The instructor I told you about. The one who demeans and humiliates her, she started to think of him as her daddy and she is heartbroken that he denied her offer to sleep with her after he beats her. If you are into that, then go ahead, but I am not.

And at this point of story, the MC is not a Saiyan. She is basically a human who wants to fight. The MC only keeps thinking and keeps suppressing her Saiyan traits one by one with each passing chapter. To be honest, I won't be surprised if she suppresses everything that makes her a Saiyan by the end of a few more Chapters.

Additionally, if you are expecting a Dragon Ball fic, then once again, you will be disappointed. The MC is a Saiyan, true, but she is in a part of Universe where Saiyans aren't even known... Well, credit where credits due, the Author did mention it was going to be an original world and he delivered except for everything else...

Ngl decent story not even that bad on it's own that being said, it NOT a dragonball fic NOT an Evil MC fic and NOT what the summery describes in any shape or form. Would suggest the author rework the summery to be more in line with the story because aside from the bait and switch this is actually not that bad decent 4 stars so far

TL;DR Strongly recommended. To be lazy about it: It's "the DBZ universe rules" meets "space pirating and space empires in the vein of Outlaw Star, Firefly, Captain Harlock" meets "light Xianxia elements". 

The story takes place off in some corner of the universe none of the shows ever went to (or will go, since this is a fanfic and all) so there's no baggage you need to bring in besides basic Saiyan physiology and DBZ mechanics (read: Ki laser blasts, flying plus strength like Super Man, always looking for a good fight, can hit Big Mario Mode when strong enough).

The MC is likeable and actually has a brain in between her ears in the form of *gasp* Emotional Maturity?!?? She understands the instincts that drive her and struggles with them appropriately. She also actually talks about her emotions with others so she can better process them and help herself lead a happier life. It's fun to see interiority of a character who's body wants to do Evil while their head recognizes the negatives of that path and works towards not fully slipping down that particular slope.

Supporting cast is also good; varied interesting backgrounds, distinct personalities and are likeable or hateable in the ways you'd want to see.

My only minor gripe is with how little this supposed fic has to do with DragonBall canon at this point, we're off in some unknown sector of the galactic backwoods which makes it more an original work with some foundational rules chucked in but maybe we'll get there. Also, my own first thought would be to hoof it over to Earth, collect the Dragon Balls, wish for eternal youth (definitely not immortality) and then figure out how to live life and all the rest later. But that's not the story being told here so whatevs.

Who would have thought a DBZ fanfic would be so damn good? The story is great so far, the interactions between characters not only believable, but relatable and entertaining as well. The insert into the DBZ universe is done very well, and I’m loving the differences and new things introduced in the universe as well that the author manages to make fit in just right. The characters have real depth where required, and I’ve had a blast reading so far. Gg author.
