If you read the synopsis then you can probably tell how this is going to go. The basic writing is not good. There is no other way of putting it and it was a slog to read even 2/3 of the first chapter. Formatting, word choice, spelling errors, improper tense, etc... are all sub par. Having every two sentences be separated by twice as many blank lines would interrupt the flow if said sentences didn't already do it splendidly. In my short time reading this chapter I was unable to discern the plot. Not that it matters if I even read all twelve chapters. 12 very short "chapters" would never be enough to tell if something has a decent story.
I do feel a bit annoyed at how badly written this review is, as I am criticizing something for bad writing in the review itself, but my brain has shut down a little just from reading the first chapter. If anyone with even a slight amount of education in english wants to pound their head against a wall to read more of it then go ahead. I for one am not even going to bother putting this in my "trash/stopped reading" folder.

I personally enjoy this novel even through there are some problems here and there. I like the premise of the story and the way its going so far.
