I would have given this a 1-2 stars if I only read through the first world, though, I've given this a 3 stars due to the danmachi world. 

1. I know this is for future plot as stated by the author to give mystery to the MC, but there is absolutely no background whatsoever as it just straight up went into the story. The author could have added bits and pieces or some flashbacks to enhance the mystery and create personality, but there was nothing at all. This makes it hard for readers to connect with the MC.
2. In the first world of Asterisk War, it was quite a bit boring as the story takes place before the plot begins and all the MC does is train with an occasional interaction with the female members.
3. There were also too much info bomb about creating new techniques and other stuff. I know it's needed to understand his powers, but it's too wordy and it's not really needed further on in the story. You can basically skip all that and you can still understand the rest of the story.
4. There are also filler chapters that has nothing to do with the story. For example, a few chapters about how the MC like to collect or prank a senior brother.
5. Finally, the danmachi world is like a breath of fresh air. Although this also takes place before the plotline, it's quite interesting how the MC interact with the familia members and especially with the young Aiz.

Overall, I would skip the first world altogether and move on to the danmachi world. All you need to understand is that the MC made some sword techniques from the first world and you should be fine for the most part.

I would say this is a rather solid story. It's not anything really original but it is satisfying to read.

If I were to compare it to a meal... it's above making yourself a sandwich and below an expensive meal at a nice restaurant that you'll remember going to a few months later. So maybe a nice burger from a local burger joint that leaves you satisfied and happy but would not particularly stand out in your memories a week or two later when you think about what you did back then.

So I rate it somewhere between 4.0 (good) and 4.4 (better than good but not yet excellent) overall. I rounded up to 5 because becasue I feel the story/author has potential to push this rating up in the future.

If I were to give advice to the author to improve the story, I would say work on giving more depth to the personality of the characters. Hmmm, that might not be quite right. Distance, focus, connection. Connection might be a better word. Your characters aren't flat but it's hard for me as a reader to feel a connection or resonance to them sometimes. I'm not a writer so you'd have to get advice from one who is on how to get better at that.

1. Ch1-ending, the author doesn't know how to properly write an English sentence and just makes word soup every ch which makes trying to figure out what the author is trying to write more complicated and not enjoyable.

2. So far MC doesn't have a back story as of ch 50, and has no real depth causing readers not to care about MC very much, and the same could be said for every character in the story.

3. 75% of the story is filled with info that is overly explained and not relevant to MC or story but is present in every ch.
