Main enemies of humankind, they are classified in two general groups, former human or newborn.

Former Human: Those that became a nhoma because the virus.

Newborn: Born from a nest a nhoma.

Are usually called human looking monsters. They got better physical powers and also special abilities. Based on those parameters they are ranked in different tiers and classes. 

Tier 0: Without special abilities, three time stronger than a average human. Not too intelligent, they are a bit less intelligent than a average human.

Tier 1: They can deploy a extremely thin shield layer around a part of they body, for example one arm. This made them way deadlier than Tier 0. Their physical capabilities are the same that those at Tier 0. They aren't considered a threat. They have enhanced self-healing capabilities. With enough time, they can regrow limbs (1-2 months)

Tier 2: Quite similar to Tier 1, but a bit more intelligent and their shield size it's around half their body.

Tier 3: They are physical stronger than tier 2,1,0. They can deploy a bubble like shield. Most average bullets can't do anything to them. Still with enough firepower their shield can be broken. Some are known to have some control with their shields being able to manipulate it some extent. They have enhanced self-healing capabilities. With enough time, they can regrow limbs (1 months or less)

Tier 4: Equal to Tier 3 in all field but with a better control on their shields. Also they can expand their shield to about 10 meters around them.

Tier 5: Those that have some kind of lesser special skill. Those skills can be from a little physical boost to pyrokinesis...and the like. Their shield manipulation skills are higher than those at Tier 4. They are a threat to a standard squad.

Tier 6:  Physically stronger than Tier 5, with the same shield manipulation skills and a more mature version of their special skills. They have enhanced self-healing capabilities. With enough time, they can regrow limbs (1 week)

Tier 7; Last tier before "Special-Tier" Nhoma. Their bodies are harder than steel. Way stronger than any tier 0-6. They can expand their shield about 50 meters around them. Even without a shield standard firepower won't be able to kill them. They have inhuman regeneration skills, enough to regrow limbs in just 10 minutes. They are a threat to a 100 man strong platoon. 

Special-Tier Nhoma: They have a unique skill, they can be a threat to armies of thousands. Their shield can be extended to hundred of meters. Not even nuclear bombs can penetrate it. Their regeneration skills are the same that those at Tier 7. Their physical skills can be more than twice stronger than those from Tier 7. This tier it's quite special and not every special nhoma are that much stronger than Tier 7. It depends on their skills and also physical power.
