V4C6: I never thought I would be saying this about a fanfic but this is turning out to be a very original story in itself. There is no way to predict what is happening and more so has taken a totally different approach to any other fanfic I have seen. I am very happy to write a review about this book. I love the original works of One Piece. I started reading fanfic's to see other takes on the story and I must say a lot of them are too Isekai's with an amazing set up from the get-go. I am not saying they are bad but this book takes a different approach, takes you on a journey with the main character as he grows, learns and hopefully change the world around him. 

Up to Volume 2 Chapter 23, I would recommend this to One Piece lovers to have a read.

I really enjoy this story, as I prefer main characters that use their head. Ezra is not without flaws obviously, he is still naive about the ways of the World Government, but that will likely soon change. He also isn't the lone-wolf type and actually trains his crew unlike some other stories.

Okay, since this fic is written for fun, it doesn't need to be serious.

The idea of this fic is interesting and it is mostly original since the story has been deviated a lot from the canon. The MC, Ezra, did make several big impacts to the world.

The story is written in a simple format, so for those who expect deep inner thought of the MC, deep character character development or other characters reaction, this is not a story for you. But as I said before, this fic is written for fun by the author so it is fine to be simple.

This review is a medium for people who are still unsatisfied with the synopsis and are deciding whether to read the novel or not.

The novel is one of the best one-piece fanfic out there. No system, no cheats, no big ass plot armour.

The story is smooth and had no big plotholes. Grammar is also mostly on point.

The start of the story is mostly based on cannon but after around half war volume 2 it deviates slightly off cannon as a result of actions performed by the MC (which have their bases and has not been pulled out of his ass by the author).

Worldbuilding (since is one-piece fanfic) - 5/5

Chapter development- 4/5- proper development of not just MC but also the supporting characters.

Story - 3.8/5- I personally think there is a couple of things especially in volume 3 that could have been a bit different as seemed a bit forced/rushed. But that is my personal opinion and I doubt will affect any readers experience of the novel. And this is not an excuse that should may anyone not read the novel.

Execution- 3.5/5- The ideas behind the novel are greatly executed. But if I had to find out any complaint then it would be that the pace of the novel can be a bit baster sometimes (i am talking about the time skips XD). Again not an excuse not to read the novel, it is just my personal opinion.

In the end, I will say that if you are a fan of one-piece and are looking for more content, then this is some more in form of good fanfic.
