What would be your reaction when an... Angel?... Appears in front of you right after you died. Anyways, he says he's a messenger for some Goddess of Fertility, or whatnot.

"The Goddess dispised you child of man, for you have soiled her beliefs and teachings. For this you shall be punished in your next life..." The messenger said.

Oh great, now the Goddess of Fertility hates me. I admit I am a scum that tricked women into bed to steal their belongings. I'm a bastard that deserves to be put to hell and back... But i doubt my life in earth has been anything worse than hell anyway.

As I reminisce back to my life, tears of sorrow uncontrollably flowed out my eyes.

"It's not fair... it's not like I wanted to, you know?... Why is it always like this?..." Tears after tears fell, tears of indignance... As always.

"..." The messenger watched the man with sorrow and pity. For he knows, all sins commuted by this man has been done merely to survive and provide for his love ones.

Its all his fault. The messenger thought. God of Fortune and Misfortune. He remembered the name of the God with pure hatred.

A willy-nilly God. Careless and irresponsible. He is the existence that directly opposes the beliefs and teaching of his Goddess. And that God being careless that he is, threw misfortunes in one corner of the world, to just say he did his job and was done with it. In consequence, this man took most of it, and thus why he was forced to live his life the he did. He knew that in nature this man may have the purest of heart.

He looked at the man with utmost pity once again.

"Do not despair, child of man. For the Goddess understands all your indignance. And thus she grants you a blessing in your next life..."

Not believing what he heard, the man looked up to the angel with hope in his eyes and listened to his edict...
