The end of an Era is near, it couldn't have last forever. The age of fracture, the dark ages of the human empire. The old human galactic empire that ruled over the stars with its endless armies and advanced technology have been in ruins for 5 millennium and the cause of its downfall still remain a complete mystery since then with various theories and superstition floating about among it's remnants, it's successors are fragmented, stagnant and locked in a eternal struggle for power,while external forces that have been freed from it's former master's influence grew stronger and now threatens everything that remains.The future is bleak for humankind, but one will come to unearth the secrets the old empire that had been buried for so long, unify all human hegemonies and restore the empire to its former glory.

Was in this turbulent time that Alabaster was born. An mixed blood, lower noble and heir to the von Graad household, gifted with intelligence and a rare power, he will soon realize that if he wants to prosper in that environment he will have to use of everything in his disposal to fight for his own place in this galaxy and ensure he doesn't succumb to other's schemes.

(A/n): This is the first story that I'm writing, I'm doing it for my own enjoyment and to improve my grammar since English is not my native language, so I would be very glad if were pointed out any mistakes I made while writing the chapters, and was given your opinions and suggestions of how to improve my writing and enrich my story.

The story will probably have some plot holes later on but I will try to correct them as you guys inform me of them,and I'm writing this on my phone so expect some grammatical errors and inconsistent updates.

This story is an work of passion and pays omage to various other Si-Fi series that I have read about such as: Mass Effect, Warhammer 40k, Dune and many others.
