So, let me get this straight, I die not knowing how, get reborn as a mythical bird, my parents are dragons and this levelling system is crap.
If that isn't bad enough, I'm also terrified of flying.
I'm never going to get used to this, am I?

Fun story to read and I think my favorite part so far is the interactions the MC has with the system!

SO... Let's start by saying that ACFoster is Interesting in nature. That could be good at times, or bad. Now what I mean by that: is the way they create dungeons and the type of world they create in this story.
Going from the dungeons, without any spoilers, do NOT expect your everyday RPG-style dungeon. While they could be considered as such, there is hardly any resemblance of those things in this story making them pretty unique. Maybe not fresh, but very unique.
Moving on, while the story is still in its early stages, the world is slowly built as Ikarus learns these things so you learn with the protag. It can be nice like it has so far, but it can always leave you wanting to know just a bit more about things like races and other political crap that could be interesting but has no major effect on our flaming chicken.
Now, here is the best part. THERE IS character growth. Over the course of the story so far, our protag is childish, and without spoiling anything here either, through events and other characters, she begins to correct some of her behaviors or outright realize she may have been wrong about what she initially thought of herself. THIS IS EXCELLENT USE of supporting characters and events because it's actually enhancing the story rather than hurting it as some other novels do.
That will be all for me, also heh, bet you weren't expecting this @ACFoster99

One of the best novel I've ever read, the main character is very fun, the novel has lots of interesting characters, the chapters are released very quickly, I'm really enjoying it.

This novel has many ups and downs for me so I really struggled to decide whether to drop it or not. I'll list the things I found good and bad - its up to you to decide whether you want to read it or not.
But first a rough introduction: A human from another world
male from Brittain
Good things:
Not so good/bad things:
But basically at one point its like: Oh now you could nuke the whole map/planet...
I liked you playing with prophecies, however the gods kinda ruined that for me. Why? Because the "fall of the human world" apparently only meant the assassination of the king, prince and princess. And why the god (s) obsess so much over a prophecy on the human world that is basically fulfilled is really dumb. If the prophecy is becoming more important again is will probably be a self-fulfilling prophecy with gods descending to prevent catastrophe, basically triggering it as the descent itself is problematic and then MC would blast them away and destroy the world. Yeah, would totally be little birds fault, not the prophecy.
No, only after learning human/mortal magic
Yes in the desert they whine about it being hot. As a fire resistant bird.
Not really. Some are really weak because of weird systems, so 50% weak (yeah, I also count Zeki here), 25% strong but crippled because weird system and 25% stronger than they should be
Sorry, I don't want to say its bad but I saw so much potential that could have elevated this story more... It's good and that's what makes me slightly sad. You can read more positive stuff in other reviews - what they said also holds true, but I wanted to give a more rational perspective as the other reviews are only positive so far.

Author is a very natural storyteller with a good sense of humor-- however, I wish they would pay more attention to the fundamentals (spelling, grammar, run-on sentences). My rating is high despite that because I think the characters and their relationships are well-rendered (and, simply, I wanted to keep reading the whole way through), but it may be a turn-off for others.
