Corrupted. Monsters born from nightmares and the extremes of the human psyche, bearing anomalous properties and powers beyond imagination. Despairs manifest and weave creatures from the void, straight from the hearts and minds of the collective. From those created by anguish and trauma becoming hellbent on bloodshed, to the fluffiest stuffed teddy bears that will fight tooth and nail to protect its owners.

One thing is abundantly clear. The Corrupted are as useful as they are dangerous. Cute as they are deadly. Happy as they are sad.

The Corrupted Codex seeks to store it all in one unified place to better understand these creatures. Whether they're kept in deep underground facilities called the Sites, out in the wild, living amongst the populace, or Archived into books matters not as long as they are recorded within the ultimate monster encyclopedia.
