To those who might be interested. This isn't the worst fanfic, but its faaaaar from the best. Below average, really. Most of the story focuses on battles and the gym challenge, which is by far the worst part of the fanfic. The action is repetitive and unengaging. You can skip all the fights and know what the outcome was. You'll never be lost if you skip every fight, but unfortunately that's most of the fanfic.

The fic definitely needs a run through grammarly. Would give an immediate increase to the quality of the story. Especially with how many words are just missing or misspelled.

The world building is very shallow with no real interaction/exploration of it. 

The characters are all pretty similar to each other, but there's at least a minimal amount of characterization to them.

 Theres no real foil to the MC, so there's never a conflict or challenge for him to overcome. It's taken for granted that he'll get all 8 badges and place highly in the end of circuit tourney. And for a story that is all about becoming champ, that's kind of a big oversight. It makes everyone else look pathetic with how easy he's had it.

There's a time distortion where one year in pokeworld is equal to ten earth years that serves no purpose. 

I can't honestly recommend this to anyone, but its not the worst offender I've read.
