Shanaya Jonas, the most stunning woman in Nivea City, had many admirers. However, these suitors were unaware of her dark reputation as the devil woman, feared by all. One day, while at the beach, Shanaya instantly fell in love with a man named Ryan. She made a solemn vow to be loyal and faithful to him. Although she had a tendency to be controlling, Shanaya was also a caring and affectionate wife who always looked after her husband. Whenever she saw another woman, her jealousy would completely overpower her. In order to assert her dominance and remind her husband that he belonged solely to her, she would leave visible marks on his neck. She even went as far as confining him within their home, displaying her possessive and yandere characteristics as his wife.
Jessica was in a romantic relationship with Ryan prior to his marriage to Shanaya Jonas. Although Jessica came from a mysterious background, she never relied on her family's influence. She currently works as a professor for Ryan Ley. Similar to Shanaya, Jessica is an attractive and alluring woman who caught the attention of her students. Some even took secret pictures of her to satisfy their desires. Jessica was initially attracted to Ryan because of his good looks and strong build, but later fell in love with him. However, their relationship soured when Ryan discovered her cheating on him. This revelation left him devastated, particularly because he had promised to divorce Shanaya and marry Jessica. Little did Ryan know, this betrayal was actually planned by Shanaya. Frustrated and hurt, Jessica vowed to come back and face her rival Shanaya to fight for her love.
I enjoy these types of stories when done well. This isn't done poorly, but it's not done well either. It's just alright. The characters (especially the wife) are just so all over the place. You could argue the husband is acting complacent out of fear of his "wifes" actions. He straight up at one point says "I want a divorce" then gives multiple fair reasons on why. How does the wife respond to this? She drugs him, beats him up with a whip to the point of hospitalization. He was already in a relationship before this. So being forced to marry her, then getting punished for going back to his girlfriend who he was already with, only to be punished is frustrating. The wife acts bipolar, caring one second, and twisted the next. While the husband is too scared/meager to actually stand up for wha he wants. The one time he's tried, he gets beat up and drugged. All in all if yhe wife wasn't as floppy, and the husband more mad at being forced to marry what was basically a stranger. I would have enjoyed this story more
