Christmas depression is a frequent occurrence, and many people suffer from it. The protagonist of this story does too, but they choose a different and somewhat unconventional way to handle the season. When Duke Agarus, a member of the Ars Goetia and demon royalty in Hell, finds himself overwhelmed with the increasing traffic between Hell and Earth, he needs assistance. The only option is an Earth-born who carries the seed of Hell in them, and among the one thousand possible options, only one fulfills the requirements set by Agarus himself, King Bael, Lucifer, and St Peter. And amidst an episode of snowy depression, who could decline such an offer? This is not the conclusive story of the newest member of the Ars Goetia but rather a glimpse into their life between Hell and Earth.

This story is not a comedy. Now, don't get me wrong, my dear reader; it is funny. Hell, it has even been called downright hilarious by a couple of readers that may or may not have been my mother. But in essence, it is not purely comedy, in the same way that it is not purely tragedy. The Crab Fighter is just an intense story. Sometimes you will laugh like a ticklish hyena and sometimes you will cry as if you're reading this on onion paper. Your blood will boil, you will feel sympathy, pity, and passion, and that's all part of the deal. If you're into that, read ahead.
