Basically, he is reborn with his knowledge as a scientist of the galactic era, into a new world with magic and aura powers. In this world, humans are part of the 7 major races, but two (or three) are planning to enslave them, while the others are watching on the sidelines. His plans are to develop modern weapons to strengthen the human nations (because the mages and aura users aren't immortal or have steel flesh even as they get more power to the point they can deal damage of a howitzer using special moves). Though, it doesn't mean there aren't magical armours (and other things)...

Extra: I'm not sure if romance will be in this. Depends on whether you, the readers, would like it or how I develop the story further. And there won't be an exact release schedule as I prefer my pace of writing and because I'm busy in life (school and extra activities, FML). If you find any mistakes, please remind me. Also, my writing style and the pace of the story may be slower than other stories you might have read on this website. Though I may make some revisions with the story, considering my editor's thoughts.

As a lone girl wakes up in a large strange fountain, filled with other individuals in the same position such as herself, she lifts her drowsy head to find her surreal surroundings. The civilians walking around said fountain are all weird creatures that could only come out of a fantasy - orcs, elves, dwarfs, dragonewts, all wearing all different kinds of medieval armor, weaponry and artifacts.

The story of Neil Dameson starts out as if it were any other regular day. He woke up, ate breakfast, took a limousine to school, and fired a couple of incompetent employees. It was the usual life of an everyday teenage millionaire. Then out of thin air, an angel named Bree appeared before him and gave him the powers of an angel. He then could see people's life spans and took on the mantle of being a "Death Watcher." With his newfound powers, he had to use them to save humanity from the threat of the "Overshadows." The Overshadows" were evil dark angels who lived eternally by stealing the life span of humans and threw the world into chaos. The weight of his duties only heightens when he finds out that he dies if he fails to save even a single human life. Forced into a situation, where Neil has to become the reluctant hero everyone wants him to be, and with his life at the mercy of the angels, he truly was a hostage.
