To differentiate this fanfiction from the original work, there will be more development on new characters and mechanics and interaction of magic. I want to flesh out details and explain new parts concisely, while removing the original wordy info dumps and plot devices (such as asking the computer for information). Instead of knowing what the abilities you can do before hand, you will only know when you rank up with vague instructions added to your mind, as you have to "earn" the specifics yourself or from others.

**Purpose of fanfiction:** I have always liked simple system stories where the system functions in a predictable way with no hidden quests or expanding capabilities. It's almost like the system is secondary, like it's only a plot device to convey the real purpose, giving the magic system or skills to characters. However, I felt that this story has many details that could have been exploited and was never accomplished. If you want to know more about the reason, check out the Glossary.

**Glossary**: While it may contain spoilers, but the additional information such as SVG and graphics, Copypastas tables, and lists can be useful to get a good picture of what's going on. I want to make it a point that I am keeping track of stats, skill points, and experience required for the next level using a spread sheet, so you can feel relieved there isn't going to be no sudden unexpected power up. In the early chapters, I will even track time, to show the rhythm and pace that the character goes through in the early stages. I might not post that "support" spreadsheet, but I obviously post the copypasta text. I will only post the relevant parts, as I find it annoying when I use TTS to hear a long status screen in stories. If you want to read the more detailed specifics, click on the footnote for a pop-up tooltip.

**R18** will be light or implied as I am not planning to write any lemon scenes. However in the circumstance where it's require, I will describe such a scene minimally. Of course, Gore and Strong Language will still be a thing.

Which is when she's given a second chance. Upon her death she is contacted by Cognitionis a supposed sub-routine of some system. It notifies her and the rest of humanity that the isekAI project has finally begun to enter it's final stages.

Lilith is reborn as everything she wanted to be. Now she's strong, she's immortal and she's the progenitor of vampires. Lilith soon realizes she will need all the helpers she can get. She doesn't mind sharing immortality so long as she gets to see it all herself.

These new instincts though. Blood being the most delectable meal she ever ate and having the smell of a 5 star restaurant is fine by her. Why is her vampire side so arrogant and prideful though? What happened to never spending on vanity? Why is bowing her way out of a situation suddenly not an option? Lilith never cared about appearances or pride or 'the good of the race'. Why is she now forced to consider such things when they make staying out of trouble remarkably more difficult?

Even as a walking corpse Lilith can't just peacefully watch the world progress. The succession conflict is far from over, new forces are emerging and Lilith is apparently one of them. She'd do anything to survive yet her instincts tell her she should never bow to anyone, make a show of how powerful she is and spread her kind across the world like a plague.

This led to the infamous joke that a Ranger's life could be measured in minutes; the average squad had a 68% fatality rate in their first year.

An officer strode along the line of Rangers, his white square patch on his shoulder standing out on the black uniforms, identifying him as a captain. "Ready ! Ready!" the veins on the officer's neck stood up taut like whipcords as he screamed at the top of his lungs. 

Gyun's leg twitched in anticipation before he nodded to the captain; looking back at his squad; he tapped his helmet. "Check, check," pointing at the ropes attached to their waist; the ropes led to a nail that was driven into the ground.

As all 9 of his squad members affirmed their equipment one last time, Gyun took a deep breath; feeling his sword, he took a step, peering down the cliff face i to the Aegean Fortress below; it couldn't have been less than a 200-meter drop straight down to the ground outside the wall. 

Swallowing the fear in his throat, he stepped back, feeling his sword at his hip he gripped the handle tight. Glancing across the line of Ranger squadrons, the air was silent, and the sounds of nature permeated the silence, starkly contrasting to the captain's voice that had screamed at the top of his lungs just moments prior. 

The captain stood at the ledge, the rope coiled at his feet as he looked over the cliff face, pulling his sword from its sheath; in one hand his sword reflected the noon sunlight; in the other hand was the flag of 10th Mountain, a Mountain with a skull at the top, it symbolized the identity of the 10th Mountain; all eyes were on the captain's back, including Gyun's. 

"Helmets on!" 

With the sound of the helmets being pushed down, the line of scared faces of the rangers disappeared, replaced by faceless steel helmets with slits to peer through; Gyun shoved the helmet down over his head. The hot steel helmet was hot and stuffy and narrowed his view but it felt comforting to Gyun on some level, even though the helmet offered little in terms of protection from any sort of Qi-enhanced attack.

"Ra! Ra! Ra! Ra!"

The chant started with the captain, but soon the rest of the rangers followed; the shouts would attract the attention of the fortress spotters, but it was meant to. They were tasked with distracting and, if possible, taking the Southern Wall and opening the defensive fortress for the rest of the 2nd legion to assault the walls.

"RAAANNNNNGGGEEERRRRSSS!!" The Captain screamed swinging the flag of the 10th Mountain

"Ra! Ra! Ra! Ra! Ra!" The chants echoed from the top of the cliff,

A horn resounded from the fortress below, and shouts could be heard from below the cliff face as the fortress soldiers rushed to man defensive positions against the incoming attack.

"WHAT DO WE DO?!"

"WE WIN!!!"

Taking a sharp inhale the captain turned back to the fortress below, "ON MY ORDER!!!!"

It's a funny story about how this came to be. I have a good friend who is really into fanfiction, I'm a close friend of the family and my friends teenage daughter wrote herself into a web novel to come out to her parents. It's not posted anywhere because she is really shy, but she let me read it. I am a huge patron of the arts, so I was very moved by her whole story. I thought it was an amazing way to overcome the stressful issue of coming out to your parents. Ever since then she always complains how there are not enough decent girl/girl stories out there.
