Synopsis

Lets get this out of the way people: This is a story with a good bit of smut in it. Expect a good amount of girls to get plowed among other things. If you are fine with that, then buckle up!
Now, with smuts stories you usually expect some things:
- Not enough actual story- Not many variety in girls.- Not much variety in personality.
This story, from what I seen so far, does do a good job with fixing that. Whether its from a nice variety of girls with actual personalities, flaws and otherwise, or there actually being a background slowly being explored, the novel shows promise. Now, thats not to say that it is perfect (No novel is) but any misgivings could be relegated to nitpicks at best, nothing to knock it down a star or two. One example is that it does have a kinda slow pace to things right now, but that will probably pick up later on once the foundations of the story is settled. Plus, even with that, its not like there are filler chapters either, and we get some good spiciness between the MC and his girls in the midst of dealing with their current situation. So, overall very solid. I have good vibes for this story, and can't wait to see what comes next.

Overall it's hilarious and well written. If you remove the s*x scenes the story is one part adventure one part raunchy comedy. The only reason I've rated it as I have is the Gloomcrest arc.
Short version, the nice doctor lady turns cruel and spiteful, and they have exhibitionist s*x within earshot of Gloomcrest, who's also in love with her. All the while the MC keeps saying things like "we shouldn't do this, I need to do business with him, oh look boobs, ok lets have s*x"...
At first there's no back story as to why Opal hates Gloomcrest. She calls him "weak" and a "coward", but never gives any indication that he's done something wrong. So reading this, what I see is one of the most caring characters acting uncharacteristically cruel and a "cunning" MC who's penis acts as a stupid-switch.

Great story so far from what's available. If you're here for loads of smut but also want an interesting plot, then Rise of the Guild Master is just what you're looking for.
I'll admit I was put off from it at first. On the surface it looks like it would be nothing more than pandering smut, but to my surprise and delight there's much more going on for it than just that.
The story is comedic and light. Some readers may be put off with the crass language and dialogue written, as it may come off as cringe, but you learn to get used to it. Chalk it up to the personality of the characters written. For example there's a good amount of f-bombs and catering to different fetishes, some of which may turn you off completely (femdom and male milking), but that's few and far within the story. Completely tolerable if you're not into that sort of thing.
Overall it's worth four stars. The Author does a good job of making an interesting harem story. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a good read.

Very good novel. Definitely recommend. I only like a few novels on this website and this is one of them.
Found myself caring a lot for each character, the story is good and the R-18 parts are amazing as well. There is a little bit of mystery and the interactions between each character are fun and interesting.
If I had to nitpick I guess I didnt like that much the excessive comedy in some rare chapters and how its repeatedly described how the building is dirty or a mess (for over a hundred chapters) before someone finally starts cleaning it.
