The City of New Winstam, also known as "The City at the Center of the World" and "The Beating Heart of The Empire," is notoriously known for its unassailable squalor and has been knowj as a collector for many varied diseases.

Due to the ludicrous mortality rates, doctors of worth are scarce found in the city despite the relatively generous salary. All doctors of worth, except one, a Dr. Bertold Vanderbilt. World renowned for hos courage and intellect Bertold has elected to tame the untamable and subdue the ferocious, he will go to New Winstam, and he will stop at nothing to make his mark on it.
