So I can't rate this, for the simple fact that I haven't read much of it beyond 1 chapter. So the writing style is exactly like writing a movie script which honestly I don't mind and it was surprisingly very immersive, and probably more so because I remember playing through the game, so kudos for that. Now on the other side of the spectrum, you mention the camera movement which takes away the immersion, but again makes it feel like a movie script so not as much.
Long story short, it's good, but not everyone can handle reading it. And the reason I can't rate it, is purely because the prologue in the game was just that linear and narrative, Idk if or how it would change when the author gets to the open world aspect of the game.
Honestly I would give this fiction a better shot and review, if I wasn't trying to look for a certain genre and narrative at this point in time.
