1. A great and partially new idea viewed from a very innovative perspective.
2. The characters are believable and relatable. We all used to be naive in our own stupid ways and the hope that were crushed with hardships that broke us.
3. Till this part it is a story with smut so I like this type of story where it is not mindless mix and matching or a collector game.
4. The emotions are greatly portrayed. Not just feminine ones but masculine ones too. Shows the author has a good understanding of the underlying reasoning of males and females decision making in a patriarchal society.
5.i believe that this story can be continued to at least 150 chapters and even more so I will be reading any new chapters that et posted so this is a plus for me when I understand the story will not be abounded mid way for hiatus or other B.S.
6. There are some cliche things in this story, though it was more the story being close to the cliche than author using cliches to create its story and it is more like having been in the same category or experiencing same situations.
7. The only problem I have till now as a man has been not showing the good side of men and just focusing on the wrong behavior of the majority of the asp-hats. Yes I understand the necessity but in every society the normal people are not needlessly cruel even the most cruel organization or government that make cruel actions are just obeyed surface and hidden behind the curtain normal people revert to their natural instincts of good and bad.
After a strong start the second arc really stumbles and the story loses its compelling edge. Unfortunately it doesn't seem that the author will continue the story so they will never have the opportunity to regain their footing and deliver a compelling end to the story
The orginal 5 star review for up to chapter 19 is in the spoiler for posterity.

Few and far between are the stories on this site that read like an actual book. Even some of the best stories on here read like long windy plodding things but not this story. It genuinely reads like the start of many a classic sci fi novel its giving tastes of Enders Game, Starship Troopers (the book), The Forever War, and Skyward.
A delightful treat and one that I hope continues to deliver such fine storytelling
