Her senses mapped over mine, and she learned how wondrous my alien world was for us.
Our worlds overlap. Our minds awaken and link together. Our hearts synchronize.
Our realities hold truth, in separation and in unity.
This is all because of what she did to me, and also what I decided for myself thereafter.

She and I are the most unusual pair we've ever known, a Human and an Altiri, each far apart, yet brought together by an incredible power. This is where my story begins. It's more than a crazy romance story; our intertwined lives is the embodiment of how I live, in this crazy world we call normal, with our secrets left untold.

This is our story. It has a beginning, but not an ending. Romance isn't all about walking away in the sweet sunset; it's messy, complex, and downright terrifying at times. No life is perfect. It's unofficial because she would never pay to have you registered as an actual apprentice. To everyone else, you are just the boy she took pity on and brought into her home. What they don't know is that you are much more than that. So much more.

You are her food. She uses you as her own personal buffet and she indulges herself quite often. You even have the permanent scars to prove it. You have learned many things from her, mostly without her knowing, since you have been helping more and more with her spell work the last few years and her potion making. The only parts you can't do are the magic condensing rituals that her potions require and the mana infusions that a lot of her other creations need.

This is my own original work, with obvious inspirations from the likes of Gundam, Dune, 1984, Evangellion, Grimgar and anime in general.
All ideas and concepts shown are my own, though I do Parody some things.
A fair amount of research has gone into many of the topics in this book, but I am by no means an expert in any.

I'd love to share some of the research I've come across on mecha, living in Space, and amputees. Amputees in particular is a worthy topic we should all be more educated on - You may find this video link a brief intro into that world; https://youtu.be/piiFI8QafHs

There is a degree of deconstructionism towards the mecha genre involved with an onus on taking a more practical look at the features of that mode of storytelling, giving actually worldbuilding explanations for some of the fantastical equipment involved and using the likes of military structure and resource management in conjunction with the story, but hopefully this is something anyone can enjoy with no prior knowledge of the genre traditions.
