Dead or dying, she is rescued by him when their paths met ― he literally offers her a final deal: to run the dungeon he'd been using on that world as his 'secret hideout' as its Dungeon Mistress, and also to be his Apostle in the world above it. Her life path before this point will not allow her much of a future; but if she will go to Perseus' former world and be his stand-in and make a way for his return to his home world, it will go a long way to her being able to have a much better future.

Then too because of her love for cats, he also transforms her into a catkin woman, with a tail and everything. And, as it so happens, he will not mind her frivolities with herself or others ... so long as she does not forget the 'Dungeon Mistress' or 'Apostle' side of things. And, she will have a lot to contend with ― fellow dungeon lords (not all enemies), various deities and religions (not all so good), and then ... those Adventurers, in time-

Rose is a young woman, formerly a pretty young latina, who is also just new to this world; but worse: she is now a dungeon mistress of a small dungeon on the outskirts of a warlike kingdom. She hid the inhuman part of her existence ― in part by walking among the mostly human villagers and observing. Each day she awoke in those first days, she trembled in fear of how some "hero" (a human like she once was) would come and ... end her dungeon, end her minions ... end her. Until, the day she met, and rescued, Jack.

Plus now, someone in the kingdom got word of the fact, [i]there is a dungeon near this village[/i]. She's sure it isn't her lover Jack who told; but then who? Regardless. The kingdom has sent this Inquisitor to inspect how 'dangerous' she is, as a dungeon ... by questioning not her, but Jack.

Together, as Jack and Rose Thorn, their lives are closer to complete ... or at least, less broken, with minor quibbles here or there. Rose does want children; Jack is afraid of what will come of them. Jack wants to set up a shop near the village or a cabin too; Rose is afraid of never seeing her beloved again.

And the villagers, well ... some of them know something strange is afoot, and are about to go looking for the cause. <<less

What can you expect from my story?

I am transported to an unknown world and wake up as Dungeon Core. There is a system, but no levels and no OP abilities. With the help of the system, you can learn skills and improve them with enough training — however, no freely distributable skill points. My special skills are my versatile learned skills and knowledge from our world. Additionally, I have some dungeon skills to get the whole thing running.

The main focus is the Kingdom Building and the interaction with new people. And realism, at least as far as it's possible in a fantasy world. Will I be able to create a kingdom from nothing? Or will my neighbours crush me mercilessly?

So the world ended. Whoopsie? We didn’t even see it coming. Quite literally as it came at us faster than the speed of light. Don’t worry though, it got better. Also, I am not joking about the world ending. Most people say that and mean humans are inconvenienced for some reason. Nope, all matter disintegrated at the atomic scale there for a few moments. Apparently the local universe wasn’t actually stable? Don’t ask me to go into too much detail. It would require both of us to have a few more college degrees than sense and I at least lack them (both the degrees and the sense). Anyway, the energy/matter/wibbly wobbly strings were at a local minimum and not the universal minimum. Basically, what we took for sea level was actually a nice little mountain lake and when the dam busted so did, well, everything.
Now here is where things go a bit off track with what normal meant before. You see magic is real, qi is real, gods are real. Not on old Earth mind you but souls don’t pay much attention to time and space so we dreamed of it. In fact, the closer the shift in reality got to Earth the closer our dreams got to the new reality. This is basically me tip toeing around the fact that it was a ‘System Apocalypse’. Reality became a video game, I became a dungeon, and this is my story.
