The writing in this as of the first few chapters is fairly bad. Each sentence is very poorly thought out and reads like bullets in a PowerPoint. None of the story comes organically and is sort of info. Dumped instead of presented in any sort of dynamic way.
I had a long day.
I was tired, so I went to bed.
Then fell asleep quickly.
I woke up the next day.
I felt well rested.
It just doesn't flow, like at all. It has oodles of simple sentences and very little character developement. On the plus side I did get the feeling that the writer knew quite a bit about Star Wars and enjoyed writing it. Just maybe not so much for others to enjoy reading as for a sort of organized daydream.
