I didn't really expect anything from a story about catgirls with a title like this one, But it proved me wrong very quickly and is a welcome and pleasant suprise. It's adorable, fun, energetic, and focused.
The story is mostly told via diary entries which lends itself to a steady advancement of the story. There is no bogging down. There are no massively long scenes with an excess of superfluous detail. The story always has something going on to maintain the readers' interest. Beyond that, the MC's energy kinda contagious.
The characters are quite distinct, and while we only get the MCs perception of them barring their own diary chapters (more plz), that kind of serves to give them more life. It really puts the audience in the MCs shoes with relation to the world. They're just generally well realized.
The catgirl aspect of the primary characters is also very well done. Instead of ripping the anime cliche characteristics of catgirls and copy-pasting them onto each character with one or two additional character traits (if they're lucky), the cat aspects are as much unique as the rest of their personality. This almost gives them more character than a plain human because you have human+cat intstead of the usual of tiredmeme+partialhuman. They are all occasionally easily distracted and generally easily entertained, but this plays in to the world-building and comes off as more of an admin enforced trait to ensure our primary characters don't go insane while fulfilling their assigned role rather than the lack of thought that usually goes into catgirls.
The worldbuilding is also done quite well, taking the familiarity of dungeon and mixing it so it's mysterious and unknown. As yet, the end goal of whatever is running the dungeon is only hypothesized on in story, so it has an air of uncertainty. I get the impression even the Admin isn't really in charge. The world is simple and practical for the story, but gives an impression of depth yet to be seen.
Regardless of anything else, this story captured my mind enough that I binged it from beginning to end, almost 90 chapters, in a day. Even with the short, bite-sized, approachable chapters, that's some good immersion.

This is an amazing story!!
I started this around a week ago thinking that it was going to be the perspective of a catgirl that got reincarnated in a dungeon and was trying to find their way out, and instead I found this.
The style of writing being mainly from the POV of the Main Character, Nikki, writing to us via diary entries is an amazing take of dungeon life and even though every event is after the fact that’s what makes it so amazing to read.
Sometimes the author changes the style to include other’s POV but not often and I like that.
I Hate the Admin though...

Not gonna lie. I didn't have great expectations at first. I mean, it's a catgirl chef slice of life, how could it be amazing? Good lord was I proven wrong. This story has literally gotten me so invested that I have watched videos of f***ing MARBLE RACING. Just for better context!! This is a masterpiece, and I'm honestly thrilled to have found it. Thank you from the bottom of my heart, author-san.

An absolute delight.
A slow-life diary in a setting where you wouldn't think it possible, a death loop dungeon trapped for no just cause..... But it's okay, we have catgirls and marbles! Seriously, if you enjoy slice of life, you cannot go wrong here.

The book is really good fun with some parts being a tad boring but enough content for me to still enjoy. The cooperation and overall silliness is really fun to read, because what could go wrong with bored catgirls (answer: a lot of things)

This is one of my favourite stories. It's heartwarming, it's random, it's wholesome, the characters are absolutely lovely. It brought marble-racing into my life, which is something I can never stop loving.
Basically a funny slice-of-life where a ton of people got Isekaied into a huge timelooping 100-floor dungeon that keeps resetting, and the cast of main characters have jobs as the "NPC"s that help the players out. It has a real, cool plot too, and creative [System]-breaking / bug-exploiting. Definitely a hidden gem of a story! ≪3
