I have two main gripes with this story.

The first is that the title and many of the tags have little to do with the actual story itself. You can claim a 'broken world.' That's fine. I'd go so far as to say that the worldbuilding that I've seen supports this. However, it has almost no impact on the story, considering the protagonist is just... in the forest. Free. The second is the quality of the prose. Most sentences follow the formula of: 'Subject verb object.' Very few complex or compound sentences, and not enough punctuation to denote them where they do exist; it makes it difficult to read. Plus, as far as I can tell, the author doesn't own a thesaurus.
