The story seams good, though not very original. There are a few intrigues right from the start. The MC does not look OP. Adults are respectable and powerful. Everyone stays in character.
But it's hard to read. Story telling is constantly interrupted with fact sentences. Often you think that something has already happened only to realise that everything before this was just an intralude and it is only now that things are actually happening.
Direct speech isn't always obvious. Dialogues lack context. And many more.
Unless your brain can dissect the text and patch up a plausible story for you, don't read.
