This is my own original work, with obvious inspirations from the likes of Gundam, Dune, 1984, Evangellion, Grimgar and anime in general.
All ideas and concepts shown are my own, though I do Parody some things.
A fair amount of research has gone into many of the topics in this book, but I am by no means an expert in any.

I'd love to share some of the research I've come across on mecha, living in Space, and amputees. Amputees in particular is a worthy topic we should all be more educated on - You may find this video link a brief intro into that world; https://youtu.be/piiFI8QafHs

There is a degree of deconstructionism towards the mecha genre involved with an onus on taking a more practical look at the features of that mode of storytelling, giving actually worldbuilding explanations for some of the fantastical equipment involved and using the likes of military structure and resource management in conjunction with the story, but hopefully this is something anyone can enjoy with no prior knowledge of the genre traditions.

This is an Egyptian MC whom you have never seen any like before. He kisses babies and slaps bitches… or kisses bitches and slaps babies… depending on which day of the week it is. He's a mean guy and he knows kung fu. One time an author tried to write him in a novel, the novel almost absorbed the author and he went into a torturous isekai. What more can I say? Rex will quickly realize it doesn't matter where he goes when he is the only one of his race. He will discover magic, and try to build a new civilization. He will aim to build a country free of war. This is the story of the legacy he will attempt to build, as the only human in the world. Surrounded by different points of view, and cultures, Rex will have to grow to overcome any obstacles he may meet.

This is my first work on the website. It will be updated every week with extra chapters when I have time.

I also go deep into some things like modern weapons, and how they work, Rex is supposed to be an engineer after all. At the end of the day, I’m just an ordinary guy stuck in the past that doesn’t totally match the history books. I can get beat up or killed by any of the gangsters, backstabbing people, or crooked cops I meet. Hell, I can't even tell if the people are NPCs. After all, they seem to have lives like any person you might meet. Then again, how many times to you see dead movie stars wandering around on the streets?

It's another dimension that runs like an old movie, leaving me with no choice but to find a way to escape. While I don’t miss my college classes that much, this place certainly puts a damper on my career hopes. Besides, Lane Dagger has a lot of people trying to kill him.

For my review of 'Zeta Gundam' I wrote a short story detailing what the lives of the poor everyday background pilots must be like - In a war predicated on the fact that one man said another's name; "Sounds like a girl's name" - Leading to the deaths of 1000s.

Since then I've begun writing an original novel, carrying over the characters from here, called 'UnderCurrent'.
These stories can be read without knowledge of UnderCurrent and likewise it can be read without knowledge of this.

Optimally however it may benefit you to read UnderCurrent to have complete context, the following are some words that may not always be in all of the stories should you choose to skip from tale to tale;

Vijaik - A blanket term for mechs made of regular metals. They come in a variety of designs.
Casnel - Specifically refers to any mech made of the rare metal 'Goibniu'. They are exceptionally advanced and powerful machines.
Bhaile and Abhaile - The planets of UnderCurrent's people.
IAFS - 'Independent Alliance of Free States', a rebel faction backed by private corporations, seeking change for the solar-system.
TSU - 'The States Union', ruling body of all controlled space, known for often-times being callous and extreme in method.
Remembrance - A somewhat 'wild-card' faction made up of former rebellion survivors operating from the 'Remembrance' continent.
