Danil met an early end. Death at fourteen from heatstroke is not the best thing that could happen to him, but someone intervened. Someone powerfull, someone dark. The Wanderer found a huge potential for magic in his soul, and like an interested ch
It's honestly not that good. Sure, it's not bad, but it's really not how I would have expected it to happen. The new rule of: If you kill a god or the god wants you can have the power of him. Summarize everything and leave the question open. Why didn't gods and titans kill each other to get more power? And I'm not talking about the mere fight between gods and titans, but about titans against titans and gods against gods. I don't see the point of not doing it.
I would understand if there was an obstinate method like making a weapon out of his body or a part of his power. But all? A bit exaggerated, since really the question of why they didn't steal powers and etc. will continue to be asked.
I get that this is a fanfic, but these are questions being asked.
It is the same with the wife of poseidon and all her domain. Where are they? He just made himself king already. The sea has not been mentioned. And the lover of poseidon in the game that kratos ends up using in God of war 3, to cross over? Where is it?
... Wait, don't answer, Olympus was destroyed with its inhabitants, so that's obvious.

very happy to find a ff of Gow, I hope it is not abandoned like others that I followed, so far enjoying everything that is presented.

I know nothing of this game but the author has done an excellent job of making me feel like the story is just about Olympus, It is like the classic [Clash of the Titans]... Looking forward too more!

The foundational power stealing logic of the story doesn’t make sense, it’s full of loopholes and feels slapped together. The pacing is incredibly rushed and strength feels pretty arbitrary with not-even-one-year-of-experience Poseidon fights with superpowered Zeus who’s killed thousands of gods and actually puts up a fight.
The romance which was initially good and the best part of the story as they both flirt, tease and try to take advantage of each other (was funny and original) quickly becomes flat as a switch is flipped and they instantly get married and try to have kids. All of which is mostly in the background and mentioned after the fact. To top it all off the smut scene is a bad joke about dragons and castles.
The story falls further flat when the MC (Poseidon) is relegated to being a side character repeatedly to make room for Kratos as the real main character and the time skips start coming in mass.
Sadly the steadiest part of the story is the downhill trend of it as it’s just gotten worse the further I’ve read.
